Summer Camp FAQ
What types of programs do you offer?
Mad Science offers interactive programs to children who are ready to learn! Campers will be engaged in exciting activities and spectacular demonstrations designed to capture their attention and imagination. Each day, campers will receive a take home project and summary sheet to reinforce what they learned in our program. Our projects and summary sheets demonstrate accomplishments, encourage further exploration, and allow parents to become a part of their child's Mad Science experience. Which ages benefit most from your camp programs?
Most of our camps are designed for children who are entering 1st grade through children who have just completed 5th grade. Some camps may have been assigned a minimum and maximum age, according to subject content, program offerings, or requirements by our camp partners. For any camps with a varied age range, the instructor will set the children up in age appropriate groups to ensure maximum enjoyment.
Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
Our instructors love children and science! All of our staff members have experience guiding groups of children into learning experiences. Instructors are vigorously trained for the experiments they will be conducting, as well as educated and experienced on how to handle the materials safely. Most importantly, Mad Science conducts background checks on all instructors prior to being assigned to our programs. Regardless of their background, Mad Science will always provide one qualified instructor for every 20 students.
