Our Party Themes
Ooey-Gooey Party - Basic (ages 5-8)
Ooey-gooey polymers and air are the topic of this party. Watch as we melt the Wicked Witch of the West using acetone. Everyone gets to play with a tornado using Vortex Generators and Tornado Tubes. All the children make Mad Science Putty. And more! Can be done indoors or outdoors
Light & Electricity - Basic (ages 8-12)
This party dazzles and amazes children as the Tesla Coil makes lightning bolts! Kids see light split into all the colors of the rainbow, and have some of their very own indoor fireworks to celebrate their birthday. A UV Key Chain is the take home. *This party does require a room that can be darkened.
Chemistry Party - Basic (ages 9-12)
This fun party includes sand that is afraid of water, exothermic/endothermic reactions, & many more exciting, thought provoking, and fun chemical reactions including Chemical Luminescence, the Mentos challenge & a Mad Science water rocket launch. The kids make and take home Slime!
Slime Party (ages 7-12)
Children have been asking for this one, and we have listened. Presenting our one-hour Mad Science Party all about SLIME! Awesome Slimy Demonstrations and Hands-On Slime Making abound. The party participants will create THREE different take home slime varieties, including Traditional Slime, Glow-in-the-Dark Slime, and Snowball Slime. You couldn’t find anything Slimier if you tried! Ages 7-12
Frozen Science (ages 5-8)
Let it snow, let it snow! Explore some frozen science for your child's party. Instant Snow, melting a styrofoam snowman, Frozen winds of the north, and Eggbert the Troll are a part of this chilly, fun party. At the end the children will make and take home sparkly blue "Frozen Slime"!
Super Hero Science Party (ages 5-9)
Who hasn't ever dreamed of being a super hero? In this party your child & their friends will learn about the science behind some of their favorite super heroes! The audience will experience experiments about flying, super breath, super speed, magical rings, weird weather & more. Super Slime included
Space Party (ages 5-12)
Let your child & their friends explore the excitement of outer space with this party! The kids will get to learn about how rockets and space shuttles launch. They'll travel though space and look at stars with special glasses and experience shooting stars, simulated atmospheres and make Alien Slime!
Fire and Ice Party (all ages)
This party is only for groups of 35-60 children. The Mad Scientist will use simple yet exciting science experiments and demonstrations to involve your group in the discovery process of science. They will learn how to make a 'scientific hypothesis' and how to test that hypothesis using 'experimentation'. Slime-making included for up to 45 children. All ages.

FAQ
When do I pay?
We require a $150 deposit to book your party. At the end of your party, you will pay the Mad Scientist for the remaining balance of the party. You can pay with a check or sign off on the invoice to have the balance added to the credit card used for the deposit.
+Do I need to provide anything?
We need a folding table or card table so the Mad Scientist can setup the equipment. We will also need access to water for set-up and clean-up and access to electricity.
+How far in advance do I need to book my party?
Our party schedule fills up quickly. We suggest you book well in advance to get the date and time you want. Generally, at least 6 weeks in advance is recommended.
+How much space do I need?
Enough for your guests to be comfortable as well as a small area for the Mad Scientist. The Mad Scientist works off of a table, which we ask you to provide. The show itself takes place in front of the table. The take-home activity making is usually done on the floor (we bring a floor covering).
+How long is the show?
The show, including the take-home activity, lasts about 60-minutes and may depend slightly on the number of kids or party topic. Each add-on typically adds 10-15 minutes to the show, depending on the activity.
+How much preparation time does the Mad Scientist need?
The Mad Scientist will arrive at your home (or other party location) about 15-20 minutes before showtime. We recommend that the showtime be scheduled at least 30 minutes after the official party start time. We don't want anyone to miss anything!
+Is this going to make a big ol' mess or what?
Nope! The Mad Scientist cleans up after themselves when they are done! Our slime, putty or bouncy ball making mess free! You won't even know they've been there! (Except the kids will be much happier than they were before the show.)
+Are your parties interactive?
Kids love the opportunity to show off what they know and think. Unlike a magic show, we encourage kids to tell us what they think is going to happen! In addition to the constant audience interaction, and the occasional helper during the show, all the kids will get to make something to take home.
