Camp Themes
Super, Slimy, Smokey Science
Mix it make it and stretch it! Make spiffy Mad Science slime and create oozy gooey putty. Observe nickels being copper plated and investigate the mysteries of optical illusions. Become captivated by lasers and dry ice bubbles. All materials for join in experiments will be provided by Mad Science and shipped directly to you.
Eureka Launching with Legends
Become an inventor and create a squadron of paper airplanes the Wright brothers would be proud of! Explore technological advances in flight including hot air balloons, stomp rockets, & spacecraft. Discover the work of Da Vinci, Edison, Tesla, and Benjamin Franklin and invent solutions to everyday problems. Materials for daily join in experiments will be provided by Mad Science.
Chemical Curiosities
Explore the role chemistry plays in solving crimes as you become a super sleuth investigator. Learn all about exciting chemical and physical reactions and how to test for acids and bases. Discover what chromatography is and create your own bandannas to wear using this amazing technique. All materials for the daily join in experiments will be provided to each camper by Mad Science.
Crayola Wild World
Explore the wonder and beauty of the animal kingdom! Learn about lions, elephants, sharks and more and how wildlife conservationists work to protect species around the world. We will experiment with a variety of art techniques, and use Crayola® materials to create frog paintings, ink-diffusion jellyfish, polar bear sculptures, and more! Materials for the daily join in experiments will be provided.

Explore all of the cells, organs, muscles, and bones that make up YOU! Put yourself together from the inside out, while learning about all the systems that make your body tick! Get microscopic while making a model cell, create a stethoscope to hear your heartbeat, and inflate model lungs that work just like yours! Get a little sticky while making “Mad Mucus” and a mashed potato brain!
Underground Explorers
From Dinosaurs to Ancient Civilizations! Dig up dinosaurs and the ancient past! Kids learn all about archaeology and paleontology! They also study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils. Each class includes a take-home project, like a fossil reproduction an amber time capsule, coins from around the world! For ages 6-12
Secret Agent Labs: Spies Like Us
Step into the shoes of a detective—uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Become a super sleuth and learn clever ways of performing tasks in this hands-on view of the science that spies use. From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, you will have the opportunity to check out spy equipment and discover the technological tools of detection!
BRIXology
Our LEGO™ BRIXOLOGY camp was developed in partnership with LEGO™ Master Builders! Team up to build exclusive creations that will test their engineering abilities! Build carnival rides, drawing machines, mechanical animals, truss bridges and space stations. Try your hand at aerospace, nautical, biomechanical, and even structural engineering! Let the tinkering begin!

Can I sign my child up for more than one camp?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each program is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!
+Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?
Mad Science instructors tend to be college students pursuing an education or science degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.
